Vom 10. bis zum 12. Oktober 2019 findet im Freilichtmuseum in Detmold die Tagung „Abschied vom Kanon. Detmold 1969“ statt. Die Tagung bietet einen internationalen Rückblick auf die Deutsche Volkskunde und ihre Fachgeschichte. Veranstalter sind die WWU Münster, das LWL-Freilichtmuseum Detmold und die Volkskundliche Kommission für Westfalen.
